INTRODUCTION

Willow lakes consist of two lakes of 1½ and 2 acres, well sheltered from cold winds with deep water close to the banks making long casting unnecessary. There are prolific hatches of “buzzers” & sedges with good evening rises from May onwards.

FACILITIES

There is a fishing hut with table, ample seating, electric light, kettle with tea, coffee and wash basin.

STOCK

The lakes are stocked with rainbows and a small quantity of browns. Stocking with fish up to 6lb is from our own stock ponds at weekly intervals.

RECORDS

Fishery record: Rainbow 8lbs, Brown 5lbs.

SEASON

Fishing is from 1st March to October 31st.
